Affordable Housing

Affordable rental housing is for people who have a low-to-moderate income but may not be eligible for subsidized housing. Affordable rental housing has rents equal to, or lower than, average rates in the private-market. 



Elk Valley Family Society owns 24 units that are available to families, couples, singles and students. Units are rented at a target rate of 85 to 90% of the average rental rate for similar units in the City of Fernie.

  • You have a source of income

  • You have names of references

Located in Fernie this complex is a mixed community building with 12 unit designed for seniors (aged 55 and older) and persons with disabilities who are able to live independently.

SASKO MANOR - SPARWOOD

Located in Sparwood this complex is a three story building with 18 units designed for seniors and people with disabilities who are able to live independently.
